My first memorable experience in New Zealand began with the landing. On the plane from Dubai to Australia, I spoke to other travelers. And every time I told them I was on my way to Wellington, everybody responded with an "ahh windy welly". I had no idea what they meant until I was on my last flight. The wind was blowing so strongly that we flew circles around the airport for 2 hours! It was the ultimate country roller coaster attraction.
The internship is fantastic. The challenge is huge: an even bigger responsibility and as a team we quickly get results. We celebrate every Friday with a "beer Friday".
I am 'trying' to plan too much and I just go out there every weekend. I am planning to watch the cricket finale in Wellington for sure!
