The London fashion show takes place twice a year in February and in September. As you presumably already know it is not easy to get a ticket for this 4 day show but there are some options! You could for example sign in to volunteer at this event or there is an alternative to the event held in April called the Alternative Fashion Week. Whether or not you would be able to attend this event it is a huge part of this city which has been described as the place where young and adventurous people feel at home! And what is more adventurous than going abroad by yourself?

Some fun facts about the London fashion week.

The first show took place in 1984 and 5,000 people attend the show every year. Those 5,000 order creations that add up together up to 50-100 million pounds, not bad for 4 days! Since 2010 it became the most high-tech fashion show and it is even possible to follow the show through a webcast.

So even if you cannot see the show firsthand you can always watch it nice and cozy from your couch. "Fashion is London and London is fashion" might be the best way to describe it. Clothing and footwear are the most purchased items online throughout the UK. Fashion is a vast expanding business in the UK so working within this industry is definitely good for your future career!
